MAN and Scania: the fight goes on
German truck manufacturer MAN AG, third major truck producer in Europe, yesterday made an official proposal to purchase Swedish truck producer Scania, representatives of the German company reported.

GAZ triumphed in Cuba
Russia`s GAZ Group took part in 24th Havana international fair, which is one of the three largest shows of this type in Latin America. For the first time, all GAZ Group products were represented in Cuba on one stand which become the largest in Russian pavilion.

Volvo enters Saraevo

Ingersoll-Rand is disappointed at its financial results
Despite revenue growth and earnings in four business segments, Ingersoll-Rand`s Chairman says the third quarter results were disappointing by the company standards. Third-quarter revenues and net earnings from operations for 2006 increased compared with the third quarter of 2005.
