Log Max announces the release of the new 7000B Harvesting Head. Log Max 7000B is built on the most popular model in the Log Max head family - the true all around performer.
Variable displacement feed roller motors provide fast speed in smaller wood and automatically regulate to provide more power in tougher limbed trees. Well placed guards and heavy covers protect internal components and hoses from damage. High performance saw hydraulics provide full flow to the bottom saw for fast cutting in all timber sizes.
The Log Max patented knife control system increases productivity by minimizing feed friction. Unique compound curve delimbing knife profile provides outstanding stem coverage and increased log quality.
The Log Max 7000B is a heavy duty head that provides durability and reliability for use on harvesters, excavators, log loaders and track feller bunchers.
The new Log Max 7000B has been updated on a number of points to further improve durability and dependability as well as high performance and production. The hydraulics have been updated to obtain a better feed and measuring accuracy. The measuring wheel has been reinforced with sturdier parts and a pulling cylinder which allows greater movement.
A reinforcement plate around the hoses on the valve cover has been added to avoid hose chafing. The frame has stronger connections between sections and larger and improved welds for better lifetime.
