Russian Government is satisfied with development of farming machinery production
Today the government of the Russian Federation has approved the measures aimed at development of the domestic agricultural machinery. As noted by chief of Ministry of Industry and Energy Victor Khristenko, today’s support of agricultural goods manufactures with the required equipment is 50-70%. According to the Minister, to avoid the further reduction of the agricultural equipment fleet it is necessary to have 45 thousand tractors to the amount of 25 billion rubles, 17 thousand harvester-threshers

Ukraine supports its tractor industry
Within the framework of the program for support and development of agricultural equipment manufactorers, in March 2006, Crimean Autonomy (Ukraine) will produce 500 farming tractors with trailers and attachments. The price for each tractor will be from $8,500 to $9,000.

Russian farming equipment manufaturers are indifferent about the opinion of the West
Delegation of union of equipment manufacturers for Russian agricultural company Siyuzagromash took part in a meeting with Russian Minister of agriculture Alexey Gordeev. Friendship between Ukraine and Belorussia in figures
In 2005, Belorussia and Ukraine have doubled machinery turnover comparing to 2004. It was reported in Minsk at a business forum of Belorussian and Ukrainian industrial companies. The forum was organised by Belorussian deputy minister of industry Gennady Svidersky and Ukrainian deputy minister of industrial policy Valery Tretyakov.

USA: ice and snow outlawed
Similar New Jersey and Pennsylvania (USA) bills would allow police to fine people for driving with ice and snow on their vehicles that could fall off and hurt someone.
The proposals would not apply when the vehicle is parked or when the snow or ice storm begins while the motorist is on the road.
New Jersey already has stiff fines for drivers whose negligence in clearing their vehicles results in damage or injury. Non-commercial drivers are fined $200 to $1,000, commercial drivers
