Bomag launched new series light tandem rollers at Bauma 2010. The 5th generation is the next-in-line of one of the most successful roller series in the world: the Bomag BW 80 range. A total of six new models with an operating weight of 1.4 t – 1.6 t. All new designs with powerful, field-tested KUBOTA engines. The rollers come equipped as standard with a single action vibration switch and the IVC system (Intelligent Vibration Control), which automatically prevents stationary vibration or compaction at excessive speeds. This ensures quality of workmanship.

The roomy driver's station features a superbly clear dashboard. The centre piece of the station is the hi-comfort, adjustable driver's seat with armrests and optional double travel lever. Under the seat is storage room for tools and operating manuals. A vulnerable area on some rollers is the hood which can be damaged in transport or by impact on site. Not here. This new Bomag roller generation is fitted with high-impact resistant plastic hoods.
