New Caterpillar Mobile Shears
Cat has introduced two new mobile shears designed for use on large excavators - the 6,870 kg (14,916 lb) S365C and 8,320 kg (18,304 lb) 385C. The two new shears are matched to its own excavators for optimum lift and hydraulic performance. In scrap processing, the S365C can be boom mounted on both the 336D L and 345D L machines. For demolition, it can be stick mounted on the 365C L and 374D L.

Altec Tilt Cab
Altec has developed a tilt cab option for all of its riding seat crane models. The new cab allows the operator to adjust the angle of the cab from 0 degrees to 20 degrees above horizontal, with hydraulic power.

New Bobcat Comfort Telehandler Cab
Bobcat has introduced a new improved operator cab for telescopic handlers. The new cab aims to improve and modernise the operator`s working environment and includes an improved dashboard, a fully integrated air conditioning system and a sturdier steering wheel for easier handling and control.

First V12 Liebherr D9512 Diesel Engine
At the Bauma Liebherr is presenting its D9512 diesel engine, a brand-new V12 high-end unit that develops up to 750 kW (1,020 hp). It is a significant upward extension to the Liebherr diesel engine range, which now covers outputs from 100 kW to 750 kW. The powerful new V12 diesel is designed for the extreme practical requirements of modern construction machinery operation.

New Combustion System for JCB Ecomax T4
JCB has made one of the biggest investments in its history to develop what it describes as the off-highway sector`s cleanest engine in readiness for incoming emissions legislation. JCB has invested around £80 million (roughly US$120.8 million) in researching and developing a new combustion system for the new JCB Ecomax T4 4.4-litre engine - the latest generation of JCB Dieselmax engine.
