Orlaco Camera and Monitor Solutions
Orlaco will present its camera/monitor solutions for off-road vehicles, cranes and forklift trucks at Bauma in Munich. They will be showing the Spectrum scanner, a radar system, the CPH and FMC cameras and the pan and tilt zoom camera. The Spectrum scanner auto-searches for the optimum frequency for data exchange between camera and monitor.

JDPS and Crown Equipment Innovative Engine for the C-5 Series Forklift
John Deere Power Systems (JDPS) has partnered with Crown Equipment to develop and produce an innovative engine for the new Crown C-5 Series forklift. The new 2.4L liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) industrial engine was designed specifically to power material handling equipment in demanding applications.

Dual Power System Plus from Palfinger
Loader crane manufacturer Palfinger has upgraded its Dual Power System (DPS) to DPS Plus. If the crane is equipped with a fly jib, it provides a lifting moment increase of up to 70%. The fly jib can be operated in two pressure ranges with an electronic overload protection system.

Perkins Unveil Tier 4 Engines
Perkins Engines will be unveiling engines from its latest Tier 4 Interim (Stage IIIB) at Intermat. Called 1200 Series, the new range builds on the strengths of the current, popular 1100D series of engines. At the top of the range is a 7 litre, 6-cylinder engine, capable of 225 kW. This represents a 21% increase in power output over Perkins current 6.6 litre offering.

New Caterpillar B Series Scrap Shears
Caterpillar Work Tools has launched three new models in its B Series scrap sheer line-up with the introduction of the 1,925 kg (4,235 lb) S320B, 2,745 kg (6,039 lb) S325B and 4,050 kg (8,910 lb) S340B to join the previously released S365B and S385B models. The S320B is intended for use of carriers weighing from 10-25 tonnes, with the S325B and S340B suitable for 15-35 and 25-60 tonne machines, respectively.
