Production of bio-fuel may leave the planet hungry

Manitowoc to use vegetable oil in cranes
Manitowoc Co. is testing a crane that uses vegetable oil to run its hydraulic lift system.
Most hydraulic systems use petroleum products that can damage the environment if spilled. Manitowoc Crane Group designed its truck-mounted crane to be used in or near wetlands, lakes and other environmentally sensitive areas.

New Manitowoc cranes will lift two tons more
Manitowoc Crane Group has updated and expanded its line of YardBoss industrial cranes. The 22-ton capacity YB7722 and YB7722XL replace the previous 7720/7720XL 20-ton cranes. The 9-ton YB4409-2 is a new addition to the product line.

First Euro-4 truck trains presented by machinery construction leader MAZ
On August 22, 2006 Minsk automobile plant presented journalists first homemade truck trains manufactured in conformity with Euro-4 requirements. Those were a truck train consisting of МАZ-544019 truck tractor and МАZ-975830 semi trailer; and МАZ-631019 cargo truck with МАZ-837310 trailer.
Euro-4 standard trucks are new models developed by Minsk auto plant that comprise many technical benefits.
